Nine persons have been confirmed dead, while 12 persons sustained injuries in an auto crash on Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, Enugu on Sunday.   SP Ebere Amaraizu, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Enugu confirmed the incident saying the incident happened on Sunday evening at 8 p.m., on the Awgu Local Government Area axis, along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway. “The incident occurred when an articulated vehicle conveying a caterpillar and a 508 mini-bus had a head-on collision. The passengers of the mini-bus were believed to be worshipers,’’ he said.  Amaraizu said that the corpses of the nine persons had been deposited at mortuary of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku/Ozalla near Enugu.   13. Tragedy… Separate routes needs to be constructed for these caterpillars. The harm they are causing on our roads is too much and drivers too should try and run at the speed pace they can easily control
