1 person dead in Ballito single vehicle accident
A well known female ballito resident has died following a single vehicle accident this morning in Ballito
IPSS Medical Rescue received a call earlier this morning for a single vehicle accident on Gazele road in Ballito.
On arrival of IPSS Medical Rescue Paramedics, they found a single vehicle on its roof with a single occupant still entrapped.
Unfortunately she showed no signs off life and was declared deceased shortly after arrival of paramedics.
Renalda Hoffmann accident death:
Hoffman was travelling on her own along Gazelle Road in Ballito when she lost control of her VW UP, which clipped a pavement and rolled onto its roof around midday.
According to paramedics, IPSS Medical Rescue spokesman Dylan Meyrick:
“The driver of the vehicle had major injuries, and there was nothing paramedics could do for her and she was declared deceased on the scene.”
The 30-year-old was a well-known member of the Ballito community and was described as having a larger-than-life personality.
She was crowned Miss Ballito in 2012 and took the Miss Valentine title in 2014.
Renalda held a business degree and was passionate about working with people and her involvement in social work, before her accident death.
