Anika Crane was found dead Tuesday night March 31, 2020 inside a vehicle in unincorporated Alameda County about 7:40 p.m days after going missing.
On March 23, 2020, Anika disappeared from Oakland, California. She was last seen on Bancroft and 77th Avenue. She was last seen wearing a white blouse and black pants. Anika is 5’2 weighs approximately 140-150 pounds. She drove a gray Ford Fiesta with the license plate 8evm937.

32 year old Anika Crane was found dead Tuesday night March 31, 2020 inside a vehicle in unincorporated Alameda County about 7:40 p.m days after going missing.
The vehicle was parked near the intersection of 159th Avenue and Liberty Street, just below Interstate 580 in an unincorporated area of Alameda County known as Ashland that lies between the cities of San Leandro and Hayward.
According to authorities, police are investigating the case as a homicide.
Police have not yet said how Anika was connected to the vehicle.
An autopsy will determine exactly how she died, police said.
Oakland homicide Sgt. Brad Baker said the vehicle was located after Oakland missing person investigators did a review of license plate readers in other areas and found a link to where she was eventually found.
Police have not yet determined a motive for the killing and have not made any arrests.
