Rest In Peace to Courtney Brousseau, Prowler Chief from 2014-2015. He was killed in a drive by shooting last night.

I don’t have anything smart or poignant to say about the loss of Courtney Brousseau, just that I’m very sad, and he will be missed. One of the nicest people in transit and bike advocacy.

Absolutely heartbreaking. Courtney is the third person from the left in this picture taken after a wonderful evening of great testimony before the
@SFPort Commission who voted to expedite the effort to create protected bicycle infrastructure along the Embarcadero. He was a hero.

Hello all,
We wanted to share some unfortunate news about a recent loss of an ASUC OCTO alumni.

Our friend, Courtney Brousseau, who was a former CCO of the ASUC as well as a past PM of Berkeley Mobile (Office of CTO) recently lost his life. After graduating in Spring 2019, he recently began his journey as an APM at Twitter.

Unfortunately, this past Friday evening, he became a victim of gun violence in SF and passed away this weekend. He has dedicated a great deal to our organization and has also been a great mentor to many of us. May his soul rest in peace, and hope we all can offer our sincere condolences to his family.

— With love, from his family at OCTO

Please say a prayer for his grieving family and loved ones. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
