The actor passed away March 18 at 8:56 pm KST. Moon Ji Yoon death was confirmed by his agency, Family ENT, who said in a statement that he was admitted to the hospital on March 16 due to a sore throat, but suddenly fell into sepsis and lost consciousness.
He was a healthy man, but suddenly left [the world] due to acute septicemia. He had a strong passion for acting. He really only thought about acting, he left [the world] way too early.

His family is politely asking fans who want to visit his funeral not to come.
