Lovely Frank Bielec passed away today from complications following a heart attack. I’m so, so saddened. Exceedingly funny, wise, nice, and talented, he always lent needed perspective and levity to every situation. Thank You for always being kind to me. Always. I will miss you dearly friend. The world is darker, and much less colorful today, without you in it. Frank is survived by his wife Judy, their son Matt, and grandchildren Mason and Ava. He was 72 years old. #FrankBielec #RIP #TradingSpaces #YouWillBeMissed
Frank Bielec was the lovable Trading Spaces designer with an affinity for chickens. The designer made his debut on the very first episode of the Trading Spaces show back in October 2000 with a return to the new season on April 7, 2018.

Frank Bielec passed away today. Anyone who knew him loved him dearly and for good reason. Death seems impossible in this case because he was so incredibly full of life.
He made everything and everyone more joyful just by being himself. I can honestly say that Frank Bielec was one of the most honest, funniest, and kindest man that I have ever met in my entire life and I hope to grow to be more like him as a man.
He was so kind to me. And Frank kindness is extra special because his heart seemed to have no limit. He made me laugh so hard that one time I got called out in a press conference for not being able to restrain my laughter because he was whispering dirty jokes to me.

Heaven gained another angel today with the passing of Frank Bielec! He’s no doubt starting remodeling the space with his vast Trading Spaces experience, and painting portraits of all the angels gone before him! Probably squeezing in a few cross stitch designs too! Rest In Peace, Frank!
We lost one of the best people I have ever known today. Frank Bielec was a genuine soul with the kindest spirit.

I just learned that Frank Bielec passed away today. He & his wife Judy created awesome whimsical cross stitch charts under the name Mosey N Me and he was also a designer on Trading Spaces. I had just found this shirt that he had drawn on at a market 24 years ago while I was cleaning. RIP Frank. You will be missed.
