Leilani contracted the COVID 19 virus while working as an essential employee for Giant Supermarket in Largo Maryland.
She was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where she was admitted on March 26, 2020.

Leilani Margurite Jordan of Upper Marlboro, Maryland was born October 22 1992.
Leilani Jordan, an employee, at Giant Food Store on Campus Way in Largo MD contracted the coronavirus while working. She was admitted to the hospital on March 26th and succumbed to COVID19 less than a week later.
A GoFundMe page in Lelaini’s memory announced her death in a statement that read:
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that today at 3:10 pm our daughter Leilani “Butterfly” Jordan transitioned on and is now with God. I thank you all for your donations, prayers, and concerns.
Our family is still in need as we work through this terrible time and prepare to lay our daughter to rest.

Prince George’s County, MDThe family of Leilani Jordan, an employee, at our local Giant Food Store on Campus Way in Largo MD announced her passing on April 1st. It is believed Leilani contracted the virus while working. She was admitted to the hospital on March 26th And succumb to COVID 19 less than a week later.
Such a loss !! Please keep in mind most employers are not providing use of PPE for most grocery workers . If you have extra please share.
Also keep mindful that if the worker can get sick in the store … you can too! Stay home!
