Savanah Weschler missing: This is a desperate call for help to find 13 year old child Savannah Weschler missing since February 27, 2020 at 2pm Ritas Italian Ice, Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, New Jersey.
Ocean Township Police Detective Leanne Petracca confirms that two township teens are still missing. Savannah Weschler was last seen Thursday after leaving school at Southern Regional Middle School with another girl.

According to her dad Shawn Weschler, the girls were able to get a ride in a taxi to a location near Rita’s in Manahawkin. However, because they were minors, the taxi cab driver could not take them to their desired location.
Shawn Weschler said:
“We grounded for getting a bad grade on her report card and she wasn’t happy about it. She’s a typical teenager.
“I understand the other girl with my daughter had friends in Phillisburg. Apparently, the girls planned to have the taxi take them there”.
Neither Savannah nor her friend are said to have their phones with them. There are reports the girls planned to head to Florida.
